‘Bloc Hütte’ – In the middle of the city and yet in the midst of nature

At the beginning of every accomplishment there has to be an idea. Michael Beuter and Ulrich Baer, the owners of the new place to be for climbers, had such an idea – or rather a vision of something more for people that liked climbing but had very rare chances to train or just climb for fun.

Habitat for Hags – Or: How to build a gingerbread house, a self-experiment

Griselda (53) and her cat Toby (4) have recently become homeless. Their house was destroyed by two notorious juvenile offenders, Hansel and Gretel K. (both 15). The police have since captured them, but Griselda is still in need of a place to live and to practise the dying trade of witchcraft. To keep the Christmas spirit alive, “Habitat for Hags” decided to help! (more…)
